The performing arts aren’t just for certain kids….they help ALL kids find their own voices, and become less afraid to speak up. It lets kids say things in ways they never could any before. My favorite part is when the kid who makes fun of performers tries it and falls in love with it him/herself.

The arts, visual and performing, are CRITICAL to student success in middle and high school. It is where they find themselves and their tribe and much more. If the Fed Dept of Ed is dismantled we will have no protections from being cut from schools in many states. #ProtectTheArtsInSchools
