I know everyone has their pet triggers with all this darkness flippantly being tossed at us, and for me, it's Jamal Khashoggi's murder. The president defending a royal against a journalist he had slaughtered with a chainsaw might be one of the more disgusting moments of the last ten years.

Gerrymandering is now done by professionals who use software to prevent "dummymanders" (districts that might trend the wrong way for their party). If you normalize mid-decade redistricting, a party could stay in power forever by re-adjusting the maps every two years.
