Just from my experience over the last few days, I have had so many cis friends who have told me they’ve bought a badge and are doing this (two bought a badge whilst in my flat this evening).

Cause confusion. Make the guidance unworkable. Protect your trans friends.
Now would be a really good time for cis allies to start wearing trans pride badges and make it even more impossible for the toilet police to determine who is and isn’t trans

London brewery folk: does anyone have any good accountant recommendations? I'm in the market for a new, local firm.

Liminal spaces? Beer? Wine? A ferry? This zine's got it all! You should get one!

En route to BeerX—slept through my alarm so missed my train, then missed the replacement because my Uber driver took the wrong route. Not the best start 🫠🫠🫠

Brewery friends: does anyone have a Linx10 date coder they’re familiar with? I’m trying to get ours up and running and it’s fucking with my head.

I've tried to call the HMRC beer duty team several times after speaking to someone in another team, but every time I'm on hold it hangs up on me.

I have—in theory—a very simple question about new brewery duty stuff; can anyone help pls?

London brewery friends, we might be in a bind for next week and may be looking to borrow some plain Ball cans to be returned shortly after. Anyone have a few pallets to hand they could spare a half pallet of? 😅

Just got sexually assaulted by a woman in one of my favourite pubs demanding to know my gender, before her friend squared up to me after repeatedly telling me “it wasn’t like that.” Fuck me being trans is exhausting.

In the week I’ve been off I’ve read two books, most of another (I started it last week), and started a fourth. I read one cover to cover yesterday, doing little else other than a big walk with the dogs.

This has absolutely been the rest I’ve needed!

We’re in TimeOut! 💕

Lily chatted about the dire rate of progress within craft beer when it comes to inclusion (despite advocating for it for years), and how starting Queer Brewing offered a route to genuinely making a difference.

Sophie Ellis-Bextor is the absolute worst best case scenario of NYE telly. Saltburn has a lot to answer for.

I am 100% now storming round the house eating anything in sight shouting “NEAT AND TIDY!” in a shrill northern accent

This is a pretty long thread, but this was a really uncomfortable and invasive experience. Occasionally shit like this happens—low-level parasocial overfamiliarity isn’t uncommon (why I don’t really do QB events/festivals now) —but every now and then something bigger like this happens.
I love how much our beer and our brewery means to so many people but trauma dumping, being incredibly overfamiliar, and invading personal space really ain’t it

I’m in the mood for an excellent pint of cask pale, but it’s such a crap shoot near us: various pubs will occasionally have good beer on cask and kept well, but there’s no knowing when or which pub. My kingdom for a City Arms, Salutation, or Robin.

There’s a 16 year old’s party happening two doors down and suddenly the whole party is chanting and singing along to Katy Perry’s Last Friday Night which feels… insane to me?

Big day today with the hot side going in. Ain’t no going back now—cannot fucking wait to be brewing our own beer at last.

Guess which bellend ate half a salted caramel brownie and half a creme brûlée cookie last night, resulting in an emergency trip to the vets?
