Kinda feels bad man that Kirby AirRiders could've had so much deep-cut fanservice from across the entire series, but instead DeDeDe's alts are all just his boring smash recolors and Meta Knight has his stupid made-up four wings ability. Game still looks great but Hal is so good with references.

Silksong is absolutely stellar really amazing but holy fuck platforming with the diagonal dive sucks so bad it’s such a game feel downgrade from the knight’s pogo slash in exchange for looking slightly cooler and working better 2% of the time.

Donkey Kong Bananza is peak gaming, it’s the Mario odyssey sequel I craved all these years. I’m not sure if it tops that game for me, but it’s stellar in its own right.
