🥚 I recently did an ancestry DNA test. When the results came back I was not prepared for the emotional rollercoaster seeing the various people that make up my biological family, especially the one listed as father.
Fucking hell this is weird, and uncomfortable, but necessary.

Currently working on a project for my Early English lang and Lit. class involving Beowulf. There's so little academia on Grendel's mother, it's rather annoying as she's my focus. What is interesting is the descriptions used by the various translators - is she ogress, demon bride, or warrior woman?
