Heyooo. I am SO close to being done with the epilogue of Moonlit Cage, but not quite ready for a Saturday post. Unfortunately, this week has been the pits and every time I sit down, I get really weird heart palpitations so I haven't been able to relax and sit much at all these past days. OTL

Finished the (revised) first draft of the epilogue which surprised me because I only had a few paragraphs written for it so I was worried it'd take a while (meehhehehehe oops) but I've had several good writing days in a row. It is a miracle! WOOHOO.

Kinda weird, but I was reading through The Moonlit Cage one last time before I close it up and I realized...I really didn't like chapter eleven. It really mucked up the pacing. SO IT'S GONE. I deleted it. I also took out the breakfast scene at Akira/Sumi's house because that's how it was in

A Real Pain was so beautiful and so painful. It was just my kind of movie, like it was written just for me. Raw and quiet... Highly recommend it, but also I'm still crying over it an hour after it ended. I dunno. It was just so real. Never thought I'd feel so clearly seen through. 🤧

YAY I just finished the next chapter!! I was a little worried because I have problems pushing through endings because I want them to be "perfect" but, of course, they'll never be (blank page for dayyysss 😬)...BUT I was struck by inspiration today! WOOHOO. THANKS, INSPIRATION. Just in time!! xD
