This enrages me. I used to work on social services. Housing First -- meaning housing BEFORE the requirements -- WORKS. It gives people the stability to be able to focus on other needs. Is it perfect? Absolutely not. But it DOES work.

Sometimes, I write things that even as the words are leaving my fingertips I just know is going to make certain people on the internet mad and I've come to accept that. It's like a little treat.

I've reached "let's make sourdough starter" level of domestic but honestly, I just like bread and complicated hobbies so that tracks.

The older I get, the more I realize that I enjoy creator-owned comics more than some others. So much so that I now feel like a need a t-shirt that reads "read more creator-owned comics".

Look, if the rapture is real I’m gonna need it to like, rain delay because Taylor’s new album is out 10/3 and I have Chappell tickets.

Accidentally got too excited for fall and put way too much pumpkin spice creamer in my coffee this morning.

Yes, we do, and it's Punkrocker (feat. Iggy Pop) by Teddybears.

I don't care that it was released 20 years go. It's the song of the summer.

Thank you.

The idea that each year produces a few unofficial "songs of the summer" has been rattling around for ages. But do we have a strong contender this year?

I got to chat with Matt Fraction about his upcoming #Batman run. We had 10 big questions for him (and even found out what Batman would order at Dunkin'). Check it out!

I'm currently revisiting Tom King's Batman run.

I have a lot of thoughts.

The world might be on fire, it may be SDCC week, I may be losing my mind slowly but I also just made a really great sandwich so life can't be all bad.

My girl @haleyanne.bsky.social will appreciate this. Walked into the thrift store telling myself I’d find a woven leather belt, some good vinyl, and a vintage Dooney and Bourke.

Walked out with all three.

I just saw someone genuinely confused (as in their comments weren't ragebait or a joke) why Peter Parker/Spider-Man wasn't in Superman since "they all work at the same newspaper."

I have not had enough coffee yet this morning for this sort of silliness.

I am not going to get over how great the new Superman movie is anytime soon. That movie is an absolute feat for anyone who has ever read and loved a Superman comic book.

Clawing at my enclosure until I can go to my comic shop this weekend.

*Yes said shop is across the street, but it's hot as hades here and I fry in the light. They're holding my copy of Free Planet for me.
FREE PLANET #3 is in comic shops NOW, by me, @jebriodo.bsky.social, Vittorio Astone & @tayloresposito.bsky.social. Only from @imagecomics.com.

Below, four reasons why FREE PLANET #3 absolutely MUST be read in the print periodical format.

I've already seen five separate Snyder Cultists go from aggressively pre-hating James Gunn's #Superman to all but screaming its praises.

What a time to be alive.

Used my free will to make my own homemade cheezits and now no cracker company will ever hold me back again. Extra extra toasty salty with extra cheese? Yes.

So. #Ironheart I didn't hate it. It wasn't bad. There are genuinely kickass moments & it digs into themes of grief & trauma that I love exploring. But there are also some pacing issues & a few things that I really didn't love at all. Overall, worth a watch.

Especially for the grief/trauma aspect.

I remember the announcement that we'd entered the Gulf War when I was a kid. I remember feeling sick and anxious. I remember when we entered the second Gulf War, I was a young adult and I felt sick and angry.

Today's news... I'm just numb in the worst way possible.

I recently got my first Labubu and let me tell you, it's delightful and brought me a bunch of joy.

Where can I opt out of living in the evil timeline because this is the evil timeline.
Breaking: The Trevor Project received a stop-work order last night on its contract with the national 988 suicide prevention hotline. The Trump administration is eliminating the option for LGBTQ callers to the hotline to press 3 and connect with someone who specializes in LGBTQ mental health.
