Protests are great, but keep your eyes on the prize: Convincing more people not to buy a Tesla.

Tanking Tesla sales will sink the company's inflated stock price and strike the very foundation of Elon Musk's wealth.
Americans Are Actually in a Position to Make Elon Musk Feel Our Rage
His car company is in a precarious spot.

Welp, bird flu, then. Yikes.
The policy lead for CDC's H5N1 response has abruptly resigned.

Sources tell me CDC's response to the bird flu pandemic has been severely hobbled by the chaos of the past two weeks.

This actually kind of accurately represents infancy. It's a wild, surreal time, and even the joys are tinged with sleep deprivation...
my kid turned 18 weeks old today. if you’re a parent, you know that’s flying week. so tonight instead of putting him to bed i took him outside and sure enough, off he went. won’t be back for hours. it’s gonna mess with his sleep cycle so bad. thank god we all forget how to fly at 19 weeks

Once upon a time, I got in relatively early on Twitter; it was all about following authors and other interesting people. I didn't have tons of personal friends on there. I had a few cool interactions with famous and semi-famous folks. Later, I got plugged into #LibraryTwitter and #Exvangelical folks

Issuing a #BookChallenge to the world asking not to challenge books!

Decide not to read books in your own homes, it’s a decision between library grown-ups & library kids. Allow books to be books on bookshelves to show one they belong 💛

I think I'm going to try to read all of these eventually...
Mutual aid is not just a disaster response, it’s a way of caring for one another, building stronger communities, and preparing for whatever life may throw at us next. It’s a labor of love—and a way of life.

For all of humanity’s many, many flaws, one of our most redeeming characteristics as a species is an almost-universal desire to connect with one another. When terrible things happen and communities…
