It is also more common in dogs living in states with legalized cannabis. Interestingly, dogs given CBD or hemp have more intense aggressive behavior at first but become less intense over time. 🧵 3/4

In the largest study to date, our nationwide survey of nearly 50,000 dogs shows that 7.3% of our dogs have been given CBD or hemp supplements. The usage is more common in dogs with health conditions such as cancer, osteoarthritis, and epilepsy where medical cannabis is often used in humans. 🧵 2/4
