Demeo x D&D: Battlemarked is really scratching an itch for me when it comes to something I've always wanted.
I love CRPG style games (Icewind Dale, Pillars of Eternity, etc.) but one thing about them is that they are, at least as far as the ones I've played, very long term investments.

Remember your favorite creator possibly might be struggling with imposter syndrome and doubt and this timeline sucks.. so if you find yourself thinking “wow I really relate to this persons work” or that persons work gives you joy, you should probably tell them. It’s a hard time to be a creative.

The last couple days of Starcraft really have me thinking I might put Starcraft 2 on hold, if not skip it all together. The Zerg campaign within Broodwar is really feeling like it's just a series of long and drawn out slug fests, and I'm just not really not finding that fun.

Got my covid and flu shots yesterday, both in my left arm. I'm right handed so figured left arm would be the smart choice to, but I miscalculated... I seem to mostly sleep on my left side!
Didn't actually disrupt my sleep too much, but it might be a problem tonight if the arm pain is still there.

Have an appointment to go get Flu and Covid vaccines tomorrow, so I'm hoping that goes well.

Contrary to my earlier thinking, I do not appear to have adapted to the time change. I woke up earlier than normal yesterday, and had a harder time getting to sleep last night! I did wake up around my usual time this morning, but I feel tired (that's my secret cap, I always feel tired).

Having replayed a fair amount of Mass Effect: Andromeda recently, it's reinforced my feelings about the game... which is that it's the best Mass Effect game. It very much feels like what Mass Effect 1 wanted to be, but just wasn't able to pull off because of whatever limitations existed at the time.

Having replayed a fair amount of Mass Effect: Andromeda recently, it's reinforced my feelings about the game... which is that it's the best Mass Effect game. It very much feels like what Mass Effect 1 wanted to be, but just wasn't able to pull off because of whatever limitations existed at the time.
Getting back into streaming semi regularly over the last month or two after a long hiatus has reminded me just how tiring it can be. It's still fun mind you, I wouldn't do it if it wasn't, but streaming for 6 or 7 hours generally leaves me feeling exhausted afterwards.

Turns out that the Turn-Based gamemode that had been hinted as being added to Pillars of Eternity earlier this year has a beta test opening up as of tomorrow!
As one of the backers for PoE, and as a fan of CRPGs in general, I'm so glad to see the game getting updated this many years after release.

Something I keep coming back to as a "want" for a game is just... more short-form RPGs in the fantasy genre. Not every RPG needs to be some 100+ hour endeavour.
Like... I'd really love to see some 30-40 hour CRPG's along the lines of Icewind Dale / Baldur's Gate.

Been thinking about actually making an effort to get back into streaming the last week or so, but we'll see if that actually happens. I've been away so long at this point that I feel like I'll basically have to start from scratch. Figure out alert/redeem options, get things setup on that end, etc.
