Making "I'm pretty sure that I want love. The kind that is soft and builds on mutual respect, that grows over time, and becomes something that I would do anything for" Lizzie's S4 thesis statement and then leaving it unfinished is so baffling to me as a writing choice

Sometimes I remember Lizzie thinks that asking people to stay in her life is manipulative and "emotional terrorism" and I want to either give her a hug or bop her on the head because girl you are allowed to want people to not leave? It's not selfish, it's called having feelings??
