NACT's enthusiastic denial of human rights by repealing sections of the Electoral Amendment Act is abhorrent. Prisoners should be able to participate in democratic process. Statistically, prisoners aren't even a significant portion of the population so this is more signal than strategy.

I genuinely think everyone has something to offer and I gratefully and carefully listen to everyone's take on issues and their motivations. However, nothing incites more rage than David Seymour's voice.

So are we going to let the presence of chinese military ships cause our government to push aussie and nz defence force enrolment? Pretty opportune time to convince our young people to enlist in a war that isn't ours and a great excuse for a right wing govt to boost defence spending amirite

Chris Luxon was slow to condemn destiny church (and mild at that) because he himself was part of the upper room church in Newmarket who often co-hosted youth events with destiny's youth groups. Churches and Christian NGOs here have a solid history of financially supporting political candidates.

These are great ideas, altruistic even logical. Call me a pessimist but I don't think our government is capable of enacting this, even if they wanted to.

These are great ideas, altruistic even logical. Call me a pessimist but I don't think our government is capable of enacting this, even if they wanted to.
