In the Deserves-More-Hype Dept, I felt fortunate to Art Direct this fantastic profile on #SigridNunez by #JessRuliffson for #columbiamagazine. The story is best read in print! But happy to share the digital version too. magazine.columbia.edu/article/sigr...

Your mind is a marvel. Embrace that. It is not difficult to ascertain when students are using AI because the writing is bad. If your goal is to get a good grade, you want to put your best writing forward. I prefer flawed, human writing to mediocre machine writing.

When I first moved here I was playing in a band with a sweet fellow named Mike. He would host any folk players who needed a place to crash. One time I found Michael Hurley napping in his chair. He woke up, took a toke, and went back to sleep. #RIP

Trump is an extremely dangerous man--stupid, vindictive, fixated on payback for his enemies. This country will be lucky to survive him.

It directs the federal government to work with state AGs to put teachers who use trans kids pronouns in jail through "sexual exploitation" laws or "practicing medicine without a license."

RIP David Lynch. Even though it's not from one of his many great movies, his cameo from the Fabelmans culminates his visionary power. Cranky, obtuse, inspiring, and damn funny.
