A lot of other tech companies in Toronto are following suit. The company I work for has also introduced mandatory AI for all software devs and other employees. 😕

I've always loved Toriyama's mechanical and vehicle designs. The Red Ribbon Army arc was full of them, and it's one of my favorite arcs of the whole series!

Videl is one of my absolute favourite characters of all time of all media! Kid-me was so obsessed with her and I still love her so much!

His character intro, design, backstory were SO GOOD, even within the DBZ universe itself.
I'm not sure any other person in comics--ANYWHERE--ever more perfectly tapped into the energy and vision of their own work than Toriyama did when he introduced Trunks in DBZ. Maybe the single most fist-pumping HOLY SHIT WHAT character introduction in the history of the medium. Perfect comics.

I can't put into words just how great Akira Toriyama's career was. Its influence on pop culture, on the industry, and the world. It's immeasurable. The world has lost a master of adventure and magic, and it will be darker without him.

Nearly every artist of my generation I know was influenced by this man. He created creators. That's the highest aspiration and measure of success I can think of for an artist. RIP sir. 🙏

It was a shock to hear this morning that Akira Toriyama has passed away. Dragonball was my childhood. It was my first fandom, first playground for writing, art, and online communities. At 12, I cried when YTV replaced it with Inuyasha, lol!
