I want to report some good news from LA:
ICE picked a hotel in Pasadena to be their headquarters for this side of the city. The residents of Pasadena (myself included) would not stand for this and protested all yesterday in front of the hotel until, eventually, the hotel kicked out ICE!!

I can't stress this enough. Protest everywhere, but keep it NONVIOLENT. The deliberate, authoritarian violence of MAGA will discredit itself.
Stay calm and steady. The F47 regime is trying to portray peaceful protest as “looting and rioting.” Do not let them. Throughout history, nonviolent movements have been more successful than violent uprisings. Do not play into their hands.

Law enforcement officers should never cover their faces when making arrests or conceal their identities (unless they are working undercover). They work for us. We have a right to know who they are. These face coverings are frightening & unAmerican, as though they're ashamed of what they're doing.
