Today, we're diving into a game that makes you question your loyalty to an entire franchise. Why play Link? Because someone has to warn the others.

It tries desperately to cram in as many returning characters from the franchise as possible, resulting in a chaotic pileup of poorly proportioned heads that scream, "Remember me? No? Well, too bad." Tokio, the painfully generic protagonist, looks like he wandered out of a low-budget shounen anime and stumbled into this mess. His expression isn't determined or heroic—it’s a mix of shock and regret, like even he knows he doesn't belong here. The composition is an assault on the eyes, with awkwardly overlapping characters in no discernible hierarchy. Kite and Haseo are awkwardly shoved in to remind you of better games, while everyone else fades into a bland, forgettable background. It’s like Bandai Namco reached into the nostalgia grab bag, but forgot to include anything appealing. And that tagline, “www.dothack.com,” slapped onto the art like an afterthought, just screams "We gave up." Truly, a perfect representation of the game: overstuffed, unfocused, and trying too hard to ride on the coattails of better entries in the series.
