I love the #NHS - kept me alive thru my #T1D for nearly 50 yrs. But I'm about to make a formal complaint 😟
GP keeps refusing to issue insulin repeats as they haven't seen me to ensure I still require the drug 🤦♀️ despite hospital clinic sharing my notes twice yrly. SO frustrating & such a waste #gbdoc

But if you don't change anything, if you don't give one of those teenagers chance to run at tiring opposition then I don't know why we have a manager.

Lesser-known side effect of diabetes? Life's more expensive! Have annoying chesty cough so ask chemist for advice - full-fat medicine inc sugar is £3.99, sugar-free version is £9 - NINE pounds! Outrageous difference 😱 we need a petition against the economic discrimination of us with #T1D #gbdoc

Do we have a #T1D hang on here yet? Long suspected that new Dexcoms significantly under-measure BGs so I wore 2 together for 12 hrs: lower line shows vvv low overnight and now just catching up with "real" BG (showing 5.2 on fingerprick).
