“Court documents described the party as involving ‘alcohol; cocaine; middle-aged men; and young attractive females.’”

According to the car wash owner, agents arrested employees before they could obtain their documentation from their work lockers. So many were likely here legally.

Here's hoping this article on Zac boasting about how he ruined some immigrants' lives follows him around for a very long time.

In many ways they're worse, given they're wrapped in layers of phony operational efficiency.

abolish + prosecute ice
More people have died in ICE custody in last 9 months than in the entire prior 4 years.

We hear of a few, but most barely make the news.

Cases like Randall Alberto Gamboa Esquivel.

He was in perfect health when ICE detained him.

He disappeared in June & by August was in a vegetative state.

The Anti-Defamation League has launched a "Mamdani Monitor" to track the new NY mayor.

Sure, the president is a naked antisemite and his administration is brimming with neo-Nazis. But every time Mamdani calls someone "habibi" we're going to track it, because that's what really imperils Jews.

No. Congress doesn't need a supermajority to utilize inherent powers that Congress explicitly has under the Constitution. It simply needs to act. That's the problem. The GOP have broken Congress and are subservient to an autocratic Trump with SCOTUS running shotgun for Trump.
ACB: If Congress wanted to get tariff power back, they would need super majority. It's going to have a very hard time pulling tariff out of IEEPA.

So here's Andrew Cuomo reacting to Maria Bartiromo wondering if Mamdani will "change the look of New York" and have Muslim women "completely covered up," telling her that Mamdani "doesn't understand New York culture" because he has "dual citizenship" and "he's a citizen of Uganda."

So the DOJ is now suspending lawyers for putting facts into briefs.

Just a remarkable attack on the truth by Department of (Alleged) Justice.

The lawyers behind the suspension should be fired by any future AG and viewed as radioactively toxic by future law firms.
Breaking news: The DOJ placed two federal prosecutors on leave after they filed a document in court that referred to the Jan. 6. attack on the U.S. Capitol as a “riot” carried out by a “mob,” two people familiar with the matter said.
