Planned Parenthood Southeast is facing internal turmoil: firings, silenced staff, and shrinking advocacy in a region that needs it most. The South can’t afford a lukewarm advocate for reproductive freedom.

Rewatched The Janes (2022) this weekend and forgot how powerful it is. The courage it took to build an underground abortion network in Chicago is unreal. A reminder of the giants we stand on and how it’s on us now to keep the fight for reproductive rights going.

Crisis pregnancy centers have played a central role in the anti-abortion movement since the 1960s. Well-intentioned Democrats have attempted to shut down these clinics by going after them for false advertising.

But this method is poised to backfire spectacularly.

If this country was truly “pro-life,” we would have Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, gun reform, universal child care, and a living wage.

The right-wing agenda isn’t about “life.”

It’s about control.
