We started Daylight because many people — too many — told us they don’t feel like their communities or experiences are seen or heard in local news stories. We’re a small team working for free (thus far) to change this, but we need your help!

Please consider making a donation today.
Did you know our launch fundraiser is underway?

Since March, we have slowly been ramping up coverage of community stories throughout San Diego, and inching our way toward our initial fundraising goal of $50k by July 1. But we still need your help to get there.
Help Daylight San Diego raise $50k by July 1
We’ve already raised more than $1,500 toward our $50,000 goal to fund independent, community-driven journalism in San Diego. But we still need your help!
