Few things irk me more than so-called “energy pragmatists.” In practice, “energy pragmatism” often serves as a euphemism for fossil fuel apologism. Pragmatism, realism, centrism, moderation… they’re all the same flavor of cowardice, draped in the robes of propriety and stripped of any moral vision.
