How about that I passed my viva and finished my PhD! 🥳🥳
Follow me for a flurry of initial posts which taper off over the next few weeks as the novelty wanes and then sporadic announcements when I have something to boast about like a publication or finally submitting my thesis.

I hope Martine Croxall faces consequences for her petty, discriminatory, and unprofessional behaviour. If 'woke' presenters must face disciplinary action after expressing their views while not at work, it's surely even less acceptable for a newsreader insert their opinion into an on-air news piece.
As a *very* pregnant woman, I just want to reiterate that the inclusive term 'pregnant people' takes absolutely nothing away from me and the fact that other people who aren't women can also be pregnant doesn't mean I'm not a woman. Also, are women not people?

I love Leo Varadkar's optimistic view that NI would shun a Reform government in Westminster for a progressive one in Dublin. It's cute and all but holy moly is this his first time visiting?

URGENT: UK MUST ACT TO PROTECT THE MADLEEN & ITS CIVILIAN CREW

This is a violation of intl law and UK sovereignty...

Feeling strangely hopeful for humanity between tracking Madleen and seeing so many people stand up to the likes of ICE and attending anti-genocide protests across the world. I don't know if it's just my echo chamber but it feels like we're approaching some kind of tipping point.

Trans women are women. Trans men are men. It should be that simple. It will take a while for all the practical implications of today's ruling to shake out but for now, from this cis woman and feminist, I'm thinking of everyone affected by today's ruling.

What a depressing day in the news. More evil airstrikes on civilians by Israel. A return to austerity by the tories in red, making the most vulnerable in a deeply unequal society pay the price for a failing economy that's already reduced their quality of life.
