Today's ABC radio hosts were weirdly scandalised that the police didn't reveal the discovery of the caravan full of explosives for ten days. Totally appropriate given the caravan was in police hands, the owner was in jail, and the police were covertly tracking more of the people involved. #auspol

I test fired my old Tetlow kiln to see if it would get to mid-high temperatures. I was pessimistic after three hours at max power didn't move the test cones, but when I turned it off at bed time, the cones were all down. The highest was a cone 8. I think it would reach 10? #pottery #kiln #ceramics
