Last week I presented my (master) researchposter at the Dutch National Autism Congress. Since the Dutch have a different language group preference (PFL), I did a qual literature syntheses and a focusgroup with autistic university students, who are known to have an IFL /no preference. #AutRes

Today in Hell Yes, Research!

Increasingly, people want to talk about autism in positive or neutral ways, and also want to acknowledge that autistic challenges can be discussed in non-derogatory ways. From Patrick Dwyer et al:

Onze voorstellen:

A (much needed) Delphi study was just published on defining neurodiversity affirming psychology practice for autistic adults in Australia. Since loads of practices are jumping on the neurodiversity brandwagon, I’m glad they researched this. No access, unfortunately. doi.org/10.1089/aut....

also you all need to see this, because this is something I don't think *anybody* could predict for where this ad goes

Perioidic reminder that the reason you didn't see autistic people with intellectual disabilities on the street five decades ago was not because they didn't exist. It's because they were sent away to institutions and their parents were told to put away pictures of them.
