Read the first biography of Musk by Ashlee Vance and sort of liked the man. Some years later read "Breaking Twitter" and wasn't at all sure the man is as admirable as I once imagined him to be. Can't find the time or inclination to read W. Isaacson's doorstopper. Just as well

Progress occurs not because it is being driven by some mythical force, but because life learns from continual failure. If we are not wise, we could

The wind is getting stronger here. I should pack a getaway bag right now yet I’m in an emotional paralysis refusing to contemplate the worst. Somebody suggested stuffing the cats into the pillow cases when you have to flee. I love the idea. But where do I stuff the #Belgianmalinois? Duvet cover!? 😬

What do you know. I changed my name and profile picture and the number of creepy personages clamoring for my follow back dropped precipitously. I am still being harassed by the sex bots, but as I understand, they harass everyone who is real here and the problem is being dealt with.

My family and I used to buy books by the truckload—Barnes & Noble was our place. Then I worked my way into a local library system, and now I check out books by the truckload—no fines or fees. Just remember to return everything on time and never ever damage a book, library or otherwise. ❤️📚
