Ok, so, as it’s been brought up again. For those too young to remember or weren’t around for it, back in the 2010s Mark’s brother Jay posted a whole bunch of really offensive tweets aimed at the LGBT community, afterwards he apologised, saying he was in character but as a result.. (1/3)

Caught up on #AEWFullGear and whereas it wasn’t the standard the other 2025 AEW PPVs have been it was still a good event! It’s upset a lot of Bluesky but I LOVED Joe beating Hangman (shoutout to the RDR2 theme!) I didn’t see it coming and people need reminding Joe is a killer! Let’s go #WrestleSky

Happy for Briscoe but the problem with plunder matches, especially having 2 back to back is there is only so much of “you hit me with a pot I’ll hit you with a pan” you can watch before it loses all shock value and these guys are legit killing each other for much less an impact #AEWFullGear

Ricochet deserves a title after a great year for him, and there were a few fun spots in that match but there was way too many guys laying around the ring watching what was going on inside. That match did not feel like a match with over 10 guys in it at the same time #AEWFullGear

I’m glad to hear this wasn’t a “f*ck you, bye” scenario. In fact after the massive fuss it caused over the weekend it actually sounds like a pretty reasonable resolution. They showed up, were told it was going to be a quick squash, they said no, AEW said ok you can leave, so they went. No big deal

The Nixon Newell/Miranda Alize AEW walkout is a hard one to understand. I totally get not wanting to debut with back to back squashes, esp 2 veteran established wrestlers, but to leave before live tv in their only option at a good contract seems crazy, cuz WWE are never taking a lesbian couple team
