Between 10am and 3pm on Monday 4th Nov, work will continue on the sluice in the NW corner of #LadywalkNR. The path between B Hide and Bittern Hide will be restricted at this point by plant and equipment. This area is best avoided on the 4th while work is in progress. Apologies for any inconvenience.

We thought there might have been two YBW yesterday so returned this afternoon and found two birds chasing each other in some wet Sallows next to fishery! Third bird called the other side of railway some distance away!!!

Work led by @wali-taylor.bsky.social started today to repair the storm damaged sluice in the north-west corner of the reserve. The first step is to erect the formwork for the concrete. The new sluice should be completed over the next few weeks. #LadywalkNR

Great efforts by today's working party. Vegetation was cleared in front of Riverwalk Hide, despite difficult conditions due to high water levels. The team also removed Willow from the main meadow, and to the right of A Hide, opening up the view towards Rudd. Apologies for any disruption. #ladywalknr

Hello Bluesky!

We will be managing our presence here with WMBC to ensure a consistent approach across the Club's reserves. This currently includes retaining the Ladywalk account on X.

To get us going, here is some blue sky over the main pool, from Riverwalk Hide.
