They are seeking to criminalize integration efforts across public life. We must be clear eyed and direct about what’s happening here. We have not witnessed this blatant of a comprehensive governmental attack on integration since the Civil Rights Movement. slate.com/news-and-pol...

I’ll say this about 2010s tumblr: folks sure called the radfem -> TERF -> trad wife -> hardcore fascism and white supremacy pipeline

On a similar note, don’t ever try to sell me on some “divine feminine,” sacred connection, “Mother Earth goddess cycle” type shit about my period. If that resonates with you that’s lovely. But me? Look my body has a lot of rhythms and cycles, it does not feel divine to me.

I can’t take the Chicago winters vs New York winters discourse because everyone is wrong: yes Chicago’s winters are palpably colder, and that in fact makes them 1000x more livable than an nyc winter

My mom complains constantly that her cat likes to hop up on her table all the time and knock all her pieces around on the floor and it drives her nuts. For Christmas I splurged and bought her a fancy puzzle table and it comes with a plastic sheet to cover the pieces at night to protect them

Crazy that #therockfordfiles didn’t have more cultural reach, honestly one of the best tv shows of all time

Also shoutout to the @libbyapp.bsky.social. Almost every book I read was from there. Whenever I’m bored and need some entertainment I just go to my local library and sort by “currently available”.
I dunno, I’m not a particularly driven person and I’ve read 53 books so far this year, and that’s with at least two cumulative months where I didn’t read at all. I don’t think reading 100 books in a year seems so out of reach as to view someone with suspicion for having done it.

Thank you to Luigi for bringing my family together this holiday. My family runs the gamut from leftists to mainstream liberals to libertarians to conservatives, and this is maybe the first political event in my entire life that they all have essentially the same take on. True Christmas miracle.

I can’t speak to how the 4B movement works in Korea, but I fundamentally don’t believe American women will be able to engage with separatist movements without immediately slipping down the TERF pipeline to fascism

separatism doesn't end patriarchy when patriarchy is a STRUCTURE you'll continue to live under. not having kids or a partner won't save you.
