Dunno if it's my old libertarian streak or just the fact that i've worked with FAA certification a tiny bit in my career, but the way some people talk like "we simply need to regulate more" makes me think that they don't know what regulatory capture looks like in practice
me in five years, probably: "look, 99.9% of the uptick in air travel disasters can be traced to ATC problems, so nobody will notice if easing up on FAA cert requirements affects safety of flight, and this would let smaller manufacturers compete with the motherfuckers who wrote those requirements"

No one works permanently at a computer hostel. Contractors come and go all the time to deploy, swap or connect stuff but, in normal operations, those are pretty lonely places. Though the level of ambient noise makes up for the loneliness somewhat...
