A Republican Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar on the House Foreign Affairs Committee just said she didn’t know which communication channel would be appropriate to discuss national security issues. Isn’t oversight her role and wouldn’t she be required to know what is appropriate? How else can she oversee?

@maddow.msnbc.com Can you inform us how we can engage with mutual funds to divest TSLA? Most people have small exposures in their retirement funds but that aggregate is keeping the company floating. Most people don’t have options to remove it from our portfolios.

Generally as society we don’t “trust” each other in the USA. We work because we trust that the system - typically works. Other societies work when you have a system based upon trust which is more communally operated. Societies that have neither trust nor a system which enforces “trust” don’t work.
