I mentioned last week that it was possible to run Affinity on Wine, but it required access to a Windows install. This one does not. I got it running in Lutris in under 10 minutes.

This too is a legally distinct Bazzite gaming box
After my Xbox Ally review, I never stopped testing. If Microsoft could get it to sleep without losing gobs of battery or crashing, it'd be a huge deal!
But Microsoft wouldn't even admit anything was wrong.
I switched to Bazzite, and it's like a whole new device.

I briefly mention Framework in this, there's a good Gardiner Bryant vid that dives into that aspect of it.
I worry that the result of stuff like this is that Linux will start to feel less like a big tent.

Some of the last reasons to stay on Windows have been gaming related. Both the time from installation to in-game and gaming performance on Bazzite are now actually better than Windows on many games, and living room usability is more seamless too.

Software is made by people. Trashing software is trashing other people's work. It's fine to have negative opinions about a piece of software, but you can just not use it instead of trying to publicly shame it.

The #Framework Desktop has been my favorite gaming device of the year, by far. This thing is an absolute beast, which is amazing considering it's an APU. Most games I've thrown at it have happily ran 4K 60hz w/ HDR, all while using 1/6th the power my desktop uses.
