yeah, the right thrives on sites where making people miserable is rewarded by the algorithm.
The real question is not "Why is Bluesky so left-coded," the real question is "Why can't the right exist in a social media environment without algorithmic assistance, where people can ignore them"

NEW: Yacht Club Games needs a hit. In recent years the maker of Shovel Knight has had to lay off staff, pause a 3D project, and delay their next game indefinitely.

The good news is that Mina the Hollower could be special. For Businessweek, this is their story: www.bloomberg.com/news/article...

Netflix buying Warner Bros would be bad for a whole host of reasons, but any outlet reporting on how the White House has "regulatory concerns" should point out that there is a clear conflict of interest when Trump openly favors Paramount Skydance winning. They aren't concerned about regulation.

Weirdly I’d pick Netflix over Paramount but I’d rather have it be Comcast/Universal over Netflix. I think Netflix said they’d still treat WBD films as theatrical releases, but idk about that. But in an ideal world there’s no sale at all.
Netflix’s new bid to buy Warner Bros is a mostly cash offer.

The company is arranging a mega-loan to be able to buy WB

“In the first US study looking at whether the recommended fluoride levels in drinking water affects brain function, researchers found that the hot-button mineral has no negative impacts on cognition – and may actually be giving it a boost.”

They are trying to dumb-down America.

This is like Obama’s “clinging to guns and religion” comment, only far more cynical and insulting. Trump’s thinking here goes like this “I know you rubes love your churches and country music so yeah, vote for my guy, he likes that shit too, and that lady wants to take it from you.”

Lol, Zillow tried to rate the climate risks facing individual properties. The real estate industry *hated* it, precisely because it worked -- it made selling risky properties more difficult. So they rebelled & Zillow caved.
