So… I actually got an interview for the position I applied for and ended up the runner up candidate. Even when I was being told I didn’t get the job, the principal was saying how it could’ve gone either way and he wished there was a position for me in his district. Kind of a win?

Ever since we changed principals at my school, there has been a steady effort by building leadership to make music classes (specifically band) harder to schedule. As a middle finger to those responsible, I applied for a different teaching job today... 17 days before the start of school.

Almost out of a movie, the kid had one last sleepover last night with his elementary school friends before they all go their separate ways after graduation.

After 5 hours in the ER, in clouding a 2AM CT, I guess I just have migraines. Blood work and scans came back “clear”. I didn’t want it to be something big. Just something that could be pointed at and addressed.

If you're doing a superhero movie about characters that helped define the comic industry, it's OK to limit the origin story to 2-3 minutes of flashbacks or brief references.

My family relocated in the middle of high school, but I still consider this my home town and definitely didn't appreciate what I had back then. It's lost a bit of it's charm over the years, but if there was a way to make it happen, I'd move back in a heartbeat.

Had an outpatient procedure this morning that required fasting/liquid diet for the past two days. Thankfully Habit Burger hooked me up with so much bacon on my sandwich, I think it out weighed the main protein.

So far, I've gotten to kick ICC, Strath, Dragon Soul, and ZG to the curb thanks to Collector's Bounty. Hoping the fates simile on me a few more times this month.

Settled in at the hotel. Had to do a Home Alone sprint through SLC due to the first of our two flights arriving almost an hour late (and almost had an asthma attack). Then got rear ended in the Raising Cane’s drive thru (no damage). 🙃
