The USL season is over, but a labor fight rages on off the field.

With the current CBA set to expire at the end of the year, questions abound about the future of the league and its players.

“We've been adamant from our position: tell us what the plan is.”

The tally is 526-515 for unionization.

Ford is contesting 41 ballots, a challenge the union is urging them to drop.

💥 How did Vivek Ramaswamy “contact” a Russian woman named “Holly” after she fled the country hours after the Cincy brawl?

The Cincy brawl outrage ain't genuine
"Holly the working mother," turned out to be a Russian national who fled the country before being "in contact" with Ohio's leading Republican gubernatorial candidate.

FYI for those who don't know: NBA players have in their contract that the players (ie LABOR) gets 50% of all basketball related income. WNBA players get ~9%.
The WNBA All-Stars came out wearing warmup shirts that said, "Pay Us What You Owe Us."

The players' union met with the WNBA Thursday and came away frustrated with the economic model proposed by the league.

An update: management has chosen not to recognize our Product, Engineering, and Humble Bundle colleagues as part of IGNCG, instead insisting on a time-consuming NLRB hearing, which took place last week.

Help us spread the word: we will not be divided. We are IGN, and we will always stand together.
It’s been-

One week since we asked IGN Entertainment to recognize our friends on the product, engineering, and Humble Bundle teams as part of the IGN Creators Guild.

The sooner that happens, the sooner we can start working with management to build towards a stronger future for us all!

This is correct. Any candidate cynically “triangulating” on trans kids is a non-starter, and now is the time to say so. There’s still so much time to advance candidates that DON’T suck.
I will never, ever vote for Gavin Newsom. Ever, under any circumstances. I don't care if he becomes the Dem nominee, he's still not getting my vote.
On a recent podcast Gavin Newsom tells Shawn Ryan how the Trans sports issue opened the door for him to change his mind on GAC for Trans Youth.

As someone who adored him since 2004 and voted for him 5 times, I can't wait for him to leave office.

There is no way I will be voting for him a 6th time.

Seeing the dramatic response by police to what should have been a simple compromise with no real impact on them is very jarring. Imagine if the PPB came to the table and OFFERED the dollars instead (that they truly do not need) to save parks—the easiest optics & political win. Missed opportunity!

The hysteria around uncreasing a budget over $300m by a measley $2m to literally save our parks from deteriorating is very cringe. Police staffing literally doesn't change and they received their base budget plus their COLA. They will be fine for one year while we protect our parks from closing! 🫠
