Can anyone explain the status of the Fulbright Scholars Program to me? I am just now looking into it as a possibility for a future sabbatical, and it seems like... funding has been pulled and it is likely no longer a possibility? If it were still an option, roughly when would applications open?

But...good news and bad news.

👍 I'm *thrilled* for the grad students for whom getting this award will be life-changing, esp now.

Look at this lil' guy!

"Ovicula, meaning “tiny sheep,” refers to the thick, white hairs that cover the plant’s leaves and honors a more iconic endangered species in Big Bend: the bighorn sheep (Ovis canadensis)." 😍

If you are sensitive to the heat, make sure to wear a mask over your mouth and nose and protect your eyes.Try adding this pepper to salsa recipes. It has a citrus, spicy flavor that is best enjoyed when the peppers are immature. You can also try making your own hot sauce with these peppers. Sauté them with olive oil, garlic, onion and salt, and after about 4 minutes add 2 cups of water. Heat the mixture for 20 minutes and then allow it to cool to room temperature before pureeing it in a food processor and adding vinegar.
