I've been on a genealogy journey since I spat in a test tube almost ten years ago.
And since the test result was an uninspiring 100% Finnish, I've been on a 'where did Finns come from' and 'who are we' journey.

Last night we were hit.

A family friend was telling us about what her husband shared about his experience in Broadview before he was deported back to Mexico. She's been sharing to friends and family because she's just in disbelief & horror what her husband told her. She wasn't able to talk to him until he was in Mexico.

I completely agree with this, but - for the bazillionth time - that doesn't mean I think America is a fascist state or that Trump can somehow magically make the local election board in Bumblefuck County suddenly decide to rip up the votes of their neighbors
It’s also a good time to recall that, save for one ethical Republican (Pence), the 2020 election could easily have turned into a constitutional crisis and could have quite plausibly been decided by the US Congress: effectively a coup d’etat.

How boring. The Estonian government coalition has lived with 15-20% support for a year already, no problem.

A former Finnish MP has moved to moscow and dreams of Finland becoming a part of russia again. 🤡 Meanwhile the Finnish Parliament is trying to collect 30K from him for misuse of public funds.

Michal on somes tegija. Hästi trollib! Kahjuks on ta aga samas ka peaminister ja selles rollis tunduvalt nõrgem, mis vähendab RE toetust ja avab tee EKREIKE koalitsioonile peale 2027. a. valimisi.
