My out of pocket as a person with a good job is $750 for follow-up testing from my annual mammogram. And I am considering delaying that test so I can push it into next year’s deductible.
Yes. Delaying finding out if I have cancer.

This is not normal for anywhere else in the world. #aca #healthcare

JD Vance is too young to have experienced the bomb drills. Where we put our hands on our heads and hid under our desk, knowing the whole while a real bomb would actually strip the flesh from our bones.
Testing. 🤯
My bingo card is full. Can we just call this game and start a new one already?

Gerrymandering isn’t new — but here’s what is: a president calling a governor asking for five seats, and a Republican Party that just capitulates to those demands.

Why? To dodge voter backlash for failed policies and broken promises.

That’s not democracy. It’s dangerous.

Solar for All will slash electric bills for working families by up to 80%. Now, Trump wants to illegally kill the program.

Working families are getting crushed by skyrocketing energy costs. The planet is literally burning. Sabotaging this program isn’t just wrong — it’s insane.

DOGE Cuts Pull AmeriCorps Volunteers Off of Disaster Relief Jobs
The youth volunteers who were working on projects ranging from rebuilding homes destroyed in storms to distributing supplies for hurricane recovery were suddenly pulled from service. Why? DOGE cuts.

If the US government requires passports for you to practice your rights such as voting then passports should be provided for free to all and within a reasonable timeframe by said government.

Dear W2 workers,

Please look closely at your pay statement. It’s online and probably direct deposit so maybe you forgot. Look very carefully at the line items called:

Social Security Tax
Medicare Tax

That is your money.
Don’t forget it.

We don’t just pay taxes on April 15th.

The administration is removing phone support for Soc Security recipients. Making it more difficult for seniors to get their checks. It’s a back door way to cut SS benefits. Horrific.

If you know anyone who is impacted, please help them get online to get their benefits approved

They're called public records for a reason. Starting today, WIRED will *stop paywalling* articles that are primarily based on public records obtained through the Freedom of Information Act, becoming the first publication to partner with @freedom.press to offer this for our new coverage.

Kids today probably don’t realize the astronauts used to land like arriving at an airport.

Instead they see astronauts praying their chutes open, then floating and bobbing in the ocean like it’s the 1960s.

Another great example privatizing doesn’t drive innovation.

Don’t tell me that Trump/Musk are not trying to destroy Social Security.

30,000 people died last year while waiting to get their benefits.

Under this new policy, those numbers will skyrocket.

We can’t kill seniors so that billionaires get their tax breaks.

Also it was very apparent Trump has not been behind of the wheel of a car in decades.

Those who voted for Donald Trump didn't know that they would lose their health care.

He promised time and time again he wouldn't touch Medicaid — now he's blessed the House Republicans' plan to take it all away.

He lies over and over again. It's time we wake up.

Or the tax credits being exploited by those same companies?

Plenty of efficiency needed there…
