Hello network. This is real shit. I’m looking for transgender, nonbinary, or gender nonconforming front and back end web designers for a project to help trans people get housing in NJ. This is a paid opportunity.

Please share this if you see it, and my DMs are open for more information. Tysm 🩵🩷🤍🩷🩵

I don't think the Democrat or Republic establishment are truly ready for how violent the libdem constituents are going to get as they see (live) the outcomes of this brutal Miller regime. Leftists have been watching this kind of thing happen for decades and are used to being powerless. Not libdems.

A DSA endorsement does not actually help Chi Ossé in NY-8 as much as people outside might assume - and in many ways it actually would be a liability to *both* Ossé and the DSA.

For people who want to send Jeffries packing, this isn't even really a setback.

bsky.app/profile/chim...
Honestly I think the best outcome would be for NYC-DSA not to endorse Chi Ossé, but for him to run anyway.

@socialists.nyc has very little influence in NY-8, and conversely, beating Jeffries will require pulling in funds from people across the country who are interested in unseating him.
Morning Spew for Night Owls—While this all looks and feels very messy for NYC-DSA, it certainly beats the current system where almost everything is done behind closed doors & the only choice Democratic voters are given are to either get in line or zone the fuck out.

As I said before, I think the best outcome is for @socialists.nyc not to endorse Chi Ossé here, but for him to run anyway.

In some ways, it actually is the best of both worlds for this particular race.
New: @socialists.nyc narrowly votes to not endorse Chi Osse's primary challenge against Rep. Hakeem Jeffries.

This comes after @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social directly urged the group to not back Osse's run.

Osse previously signaled he'd likely not run without a DSA endorsement.

Investing in leftists who are trans gender, who are nonbinary, and similar in poverty conditions can often have massive impact everywhere. I think if I could I would spend the rest of my career building coop businesses around those people, for those people.

Al Franken may not have been as prolific a sexual harasser as Cuomo, but that's a pretty low bar to clear, which makes it extremely weird when people hate on Gillibrand for speaking out against him, instead of hating her for all the other awful and bigoted stuff she's done.
Eight separate women accused Franken of sexual harassment. This is a deeply weird hill to die on.

Disagreement on policy is welcome and reasonable, but calling me a Nazi for cosponsoring an ordinance to ban price-fixing is completely unacceptable. Councilor Ryan edited his post, but did not disclose the edit and explain the nature of the substantive change, so it’s here for posterity.

I absolutely believe this is the best time for either. The Democrat party is a walking corpse. Lower and upper level.
If you absolutely would insist on electoralism - and frankly having a party to front in public wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing even if you're not really an electoralist (that's the socialist in me) - I'd recommend all the socialist and soc dem, green parties merge into a coalition party.

a big runoff last night, in New Orleans:

Calvin Duncan was exonerated after spending *28 years* in prison; he tried to get his own case records from the New Orleans city clerk—but the office dragged its feet.

So Duncan ran to become city clerk himself, and yesterday ousted the incumbent.

Duncan, a political newcomer and former prisoner, defeated incumbent Darren Lombard by a wide margin in Saturday's runoff.

Things can get better. It's our fuckin money ain't it?

it is a victory of Hitlerite thought that people are attempting to use Hitler’s own logic to explain the man himself, looking at his genes rather than from the socio-political factors that allowed him to rise
Exclusive: Adolf Hitler’s DNA has been sequenced by scientists

It has:
- shown he had a disorder which impacted his sexual development
- debunked rumours about his ancestry
- shown a high likelihood that he had a neurodivergent condition and/or bipolar disorder

I'm telling y'all, American capitalists got spoiled. They're brats who don't remember what's required. We keep expecting Rockefeller and the Ludlow Massacre, but they can barely pull up their pants with total power.
it says a lot about the average politician that this guy seems to expect that zohran mamdani only said what he said to get elected and doesn’t actually believe in anything
Canadian multimillionaire and Shark Tank guy Kevin O'Leary went on TV to say he's upset Zohran won't talk to him: "I and others who invest in real estate have tried to get a meeting to figure out what's rhetoric and what's policy. So far for me it's been crickets."
