Whatever stuff they use for the glue/adhesive on Tandem steel needle infusion sites needs to be used for infrastructural construction because that shit DOES NOT COME OFF ME EASILY and HURTS like a MF!

I’ve been putting my hot glue to good use by making my own mini Christmas scene on my bookshelf that is Lilo proof (as she attacks our real full size Christmas tree.) I’ve made a tree skirt from dollar store felt, presents from insulin boxes, and now a paper chain garland from coloured paper.

I just said to my bestie, who always knows about killer manga, anime and video games eons before me, and once again knew about an anime I exclaimed to be excited about before I did:

When you’re 33 with an army of medical problems and have had type 1 diabetes for 8 years, days like today feel like Christmas! 🎅 And the best part is that for the first time ever with diabetes all of my insulin and supplies are 100% covered and free for me! Thank you Canadian healthcare! 🙏
