The day Americans can stop being political on everything and forcing personal opinion on everything including the software space, the day things will work together. I still don't understand why development in FOSS space keeps fighting out of personal views on anything.

The more I learned, it turns out that, Arch is a semi-source-based OS. Something like Slackware. The binary parts of the OS are the official pacman and the base OS. While the source-based part of the OS is the AUR and ABS.

I hate that up until now, there's no BSD-3 Clause equivalent in the GPL licensing that prevents its community and developer from getting endorsed by others and stays politically neutral. It does get in trouble when, SOMEHOW, a project as big as NixOS, GNOME, and Canonical being so so political.

Vivaldi customization is way too janky for my taste. I like browser that just works, have the customization that are stable, made with it in mind, or at least have simple customization. For example, most Firefox-based browsers, some Gecko-based browser, and for simple customization, Brave & Helium.

I think I'd rather be cowboy or farmer rather than a developer at this point. It might for now just Australia, in which the country I'm not in, but I'm afraid this could go to everywhere else. I hate being a developer and aspiring FOSS user.

the "australian github potentially banned for being social media" reminds me of when I offhandedly brought up github when talking with my mom and from the way she reacted I could tell she thought it sounded like a porn site

Pirates are the only form of preservationist that functionally matters.
Piracy and data hoarding/distributing is preservation in the only way it will ever matter to anybody.

I don't mind another "we have them but can't share them :3" org going under, they serve no purpose.

If there's any artwork that you enjoy it that holds a special place in your heart, you need to save it now. Download it, print it, however you can get an offline version of it, do it. With the way things are going, it won't be long before your access to it is barred.

Maybe we could find out.

Mastercard (US): 1-800-627-8372
Mastercard (Int.): +1-636-722-7111
Visa (US + Can): 1 800 847 2911
Visa (AUS): 1 800 125 440
PayPal: +44-0203-901-7000
Collective Shout, the group that took credit for bullying Mastercard into recently censoring more platforms, stated that apparently it took them ~1000 phonecalls to convince them to give them what they wanted?

We got like way more people than that don't we?
ok then. one angle of attack then needs to be actively bombarding Visa and Mastercard's phone numbers and emails.

are customer support phone numbers/emails the best avenue to start with or is there a better option?
