Storm Bert wasn't quite so dramatic in the Lake District yesterday, powerful yes but not as dramatic.
Certainly made its presence felt more for us over night, but it did mean I could grab this 2.5 second hand held long exposure on the shoreline beneath Friars Crag!

Possibly the most physical effort I've ever expended for a photo. Three dawn trips up here within 9 days, only to sit in hill fog for the first two. That feeling of stepping out of the cloud, and looking up at that ever so twinkly starry sky, only to be followed by this 🥰
