Sterker nog, inmiddels kunnen we ook BBB wel tot het radicaalrechtse blok rekenen, en de VVD staat er ook met één teen, dan wel één been in. Het blok is gegroeid en het raam van Overton is een stuk naar rechts verschoven.

Slotsom, als je de poppetjes mag geloven die SBS heeft ingeschakeld: we willen minder migranten, tenzij we ze kunnen gebruiken, maar ze mogen niks, vooral niet wonen, en we willen ze niet zien, anders herkennen we ons land niet meer.

Het is een van de problemen in de cultuurstrijd: linkse politici gaan vaak het conflict aan op een terrein dat gunstig is voor de tegenstander. Impliciet nemen ze de tegenstelling over die het rechts-populisme ons voortdurend voorschotelt: het volk is rechts, de instituties zijn links.

Er wordt in Nederland niet goed gevoeld, of in ieder geval niet vaak genoeg opgeschreven, dat Nederland een anti-democratische weg is ingeslagen. Het zijn allemaal geen losse flodders. Noch misbruik van het noodrecht, noch het fabriceren van een ‘asielcrisis’, noch de antifa-motie van gisteravond.
