Every polycule PF2 group needs that one member who is not part of the polycule, has no interest in joining the polycule, and is really just doing their own thing. Otherwise it's just a really overtuned ERP session.

As a general rule, we as a society really need to stop conflating *fictional power dynamics* with actual social power and the accountability it entails.
"I had a bad time tonight" -> "the person fictionally in charge must have done something wrong".

My gran (b.1931) had gay/trans stuff explained by her mother when she was maybe six? It is what is, you can’t hurt anyone, etc. She essentially spent her life not caring. Late on I had to explain it wasn’t because of weak mothers, etc. She understood & became appalled anyone would bother them.
fwiw "I don't know what the big deal is" is the starting point for most people on trans rights and even if they've been moved to the right by the past few years of propaganda getting people back to their natural attitude is not insurmountable or even particularly difficult

My gran (b.1931) had gay/trans stuff explained by her mother when she was maybe six? It is what is, you can’t hurt anyone, etc. She essentially spent her life not caring. Late on I had to explain it wasn’t because of weak mothers, etc. She understood & became appalled anyone would bother them.

I think one of the best things devs can do right now to support this dying ecosystem is support the independent journalism covering their respective scenes. For two reasons:
- You get good journalism out of it
- You're investing in the space you live in
