Myself and 2 of my friends' kiddos played "You Awaken In A Strange Place" (by @jacobandrews.bsky.social) and it was an absolute blast.
We will be playing it again!

People who expect you to show up for them, but never do so for others aren’t friends. Those are opportunists. People pleasing doesn’t serve you positively in those circumstances, so I’m giving your silly, anxious, rejection-sensitive ass the permission to stop catering to them. Protect your peace ✌️

There's an individual who works at a local convenience store of sorts, and he cautiously bridged a conversation with me today as I picked up more sick-day supplies. He single-handedly rekindled the spark of hope in me, and I am going to let that fuel me for the next few years.

What if I wrote a poetry book comprised entirely of poems about my D&D/TTRPG characters?

(I mean, 1/3 of my first book already was, but still...)

Time to promo my book again (sorry, not sorry.)

With the holidays beginning, please consider getting a copy of my debut poetry book for those creative, book-worm types in your life.

You'll not only be supporting their healthy habits, but you'll be supporting a small-fry artist as well.

I finally published a book; however, it didn't change my day-to-day, it didn't fix any emotional or physical health problems, it didn't wipe away my student loan debt, etc.

It's like the drop landed in the bucket, and the ripples I've been waiting for just never happened.

But I'll keep trying.

Starting out on this new social media platform makes me feel like I am finally at the midway point between my younger self who was called to help fix all my elderly family members' technology, and said elderly family members trying to learn how to work with new technology. 🙃
