I am afraid for her friends who are a trans couple and their future. Luckily I live in Oregon but how long can blue states hold back the federal government?
My heart aches today. I am afraid of what is to come. I am afraid for my husband. He is part Middle Eastern with dual citizenship. I am afraid for my daughter. Not only will her skin color be an issue, her rights are diminishing rapidly.

For my Oregon folks: Remy Drabkin, the mayor of McMinnville, and Lindsay Berschauer, the Yamhill County Commissioner, lost their elections.
Major victory for Yamhill Co. voters. Remy was an asshole who would scream at journalists for writing anything but lavish praise. Berschauer’s a monster.

Although the national election did not turn out as I wanted, my blue heart(in a purple county) is happy that one of our MAGA county commissioners lost her re-election bid.
