Keeping the U.S. government funded now is to participate in the most atrocious misuse of the power of the United States in modern times.

So I for one have decided that the best route is to shut the whole f*cking thing down. https://robertreich.substack.com/p/should-democrats-shut-the-government

Today, House Republicans passed a bill that takes food from kids and healthcare from the poor while adding trillions to the deficit—all to provide tax cuts that go overwhelmingly to the rich. It’s cruel by design and terrible for the economy. The Senate must reject H.R.1. www.epi.org/press/epi-co...

Hey MSNBC! Stop giving Trump 4-5 hours of prime air time every night. Do the country a favor and have people like Governor J.B. Pritzker on. He gave a great speech in New Hampshire April 27th. Please do at least one hour of Democratic messaging.

Restrictions on voter registration can determine who wins and who loses. So can limits on early voting and vote-by-mail access. Close elections often hinge on which votes are counted — and which are disqualified. Even when results aren’t close, Republicans increasingly contest outcomes they dislike.

More bullshit.

Donald Trump, you can’t shut down the Dept. of Education — and you know it. Fox News even knows it. So stop it.

We know you’re just trying to wear us out. But for the record, I am not overwhelmed. My zone isn’t flooded.

I will fight your illegal behavior until the cows come home.

The end goal is to make education a privilege for children born into wealth while destroying the meritocracy that is at the center of the American dream.
Donald Trump’s order dismantling the Dept. of Education is yet another attack on our children’s future. This isn’t about empowering states—it’s about gutting protections for students, slashing resources for public schools, + abandoning families who rely on federal support as a pathway to prosperity.
