Lots of new robots in the works. ⚙️ Here’s one of the first off the line.

Robots are fascinated by plants.
Their simple programming feels familiar. Their environmental responses imply sentience, but their finite ability to grow and change is what really intrigues a robot. They love to study and care for these little marvels. 🌱

Building a ResistBot. This first one will be sold with 100% of sale going to ACLU.
Can’t always make it to the protests, but I can always make something out of clay.

Half of a world population is 10 ft tall. The other half is 5 ft tall. Everything in this world is built for 10 ft tall inhabitants. Furniture, doorways, you name it.
5 ft inhabitants have to adapt. They notice the difference.
The 10 footers notice too. They’re affirmed the world is made for them.

We’ve got a new addition to our house here. This is Buns, a very persistent stray that stalked us outside our house unrelentingly with kindness (and morbid gifts) until we gave in and adopted her.
She just got spayed and all her shots yesterday, and is having some chill recuperation now.

Ever wonder what snow in the swamp would look like? This is 5 miles into the Louisiana swamps in the Atchafalaya basin... it's unreal... having lived down there for the first 28 years of my life, we never saw anything like this.

Smashed records.

More saltBots on deck for upcoming Spring sales.
Note: they can also be reprogrammed to hold stuff other than salt. But the warranty will be voided.

CrunchBot assembly!
Inspired by the expressive underbite of robot designs like the Iron Giant and other retro bots of the 50s scifi era.

Half a bowl becomes the jaw of a CrunchBot mug with a little cutting and smoothing.

Starting a new piece based on this little fellow from a few years ago. I’ve always liked this design. They look dopey, earnest, and tough. The three endearing robot traits.
