Y'all I have to be insufferable about fundraising for @scarleteen.com because the work we are doing is too important! We're establishing a $40k fund to help with health care expenses for staff and volunteers, and a dollar-for-dollar match kicks in at $10k!

Call me controversial, but if AI does seem to pose present dangers to child development and we don't even know the long term risks, then neither parents nor teachers nor NPR nor politicians should be pushing it so heavily onto young people, or into education at all levels.
