Trump irresponsible pardons allow sexual predator freedom from accountability.
Trump is an accomplice to his pedophilia.
A man pardoned by Donald Trump for his role in January 6th - he assaulted Capitol Police officers with bear spray & a metal whip - has avoided prison for child sex crimes because of the president’s sweeping pardon, despite pleading guilty to soliciting what he believed was a 15-year-old girl for sex

JD's family has spent $35M on vacations.

Kash Patel used a $60M FBI jet to go on a date.

Trump spent $98M to golf for 24% of the days of this term.

ALL WITH OUR TAX DOLLARS.

But you think a single mom getting $6 a day for SNAP is the problem?

Seems to me we should be sure that it is well publicized that people don’t want any help and then when they come begging for help, let everyone know that despite their reluctance and unwillingness to participate in a social safety net, when something happens, they want that social safety net.
Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Arkansas governor, on Twitter in 2023:
“As long as I am your governor, the meddling hand of big government creeping down from Washington DC will be stopped cold at the Mississippi River.”
(After tornadoes that year, she demanded the feds pay 100% of recovery costs.) 🧵 15/20

The thing about the "I voted against this" position Schumer is taking is that either he is trying to mislead Dem voters by implying he didn't support reopening right now, or he has no control over his caucus.

These Senators have lived out of touch with real citizens for far too long. They have zero idea about what life is like for regular people under FOTUS.

That old metaphor about the frog and the boiling water isn’t true: If you put a frog in a pot of water and slowly raise the heat, the frog will jump out before it gets boiled to death.
The question now is whether American journalists are smarter than frogs.

26 billionaires spent over $22 million to beat Zohran Mamdani.

Why? Because regular people came together around an agenda that prioritized making life easier for more people. It beat big money.

That is how we win.

This is a bad deal for Americans.

Voters turned out in record numbers last wk to elect Democrats believing they would fight for working families.

We urge Senate Dems to vote NO on the reported GOP budget package, which fails to address the devastating health care crisis.

Chuck Schumer definitely snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory. Retired Senator Schumer.
We had all the momentum

•The American people were blaming Republicans

•A landslide Democratic victory

•Courts ordering Trump to fund SNAP benefits

Yet you couldn't convince your caucus to fight for us

It's the final straw that breaks the back of your tenure as leader, Senator

Time to step down
Democrats have been fighting for months to address America's healthcare crisis

For the millions who will lose coverage
For people with cancer who won't get the care they need
For working families who can't afford to pay $25K more a year for healthcare

We will keep fighting

Keep fighting to remove health insurance from millions of Americans? Keep fighting to cave to fascism? Keep fighting for WHAT, CHUCK?

Doesn't look like you're fighting for ANYTHING OF VALUE. It looks like you're not "fighting" at all.

This deal to reopen the government is fucking disgraceful.

Tens of millions will lose their healthcare. Trump will be emboldened.

This is exactly what’s wrong with Democratic Party leadership and why we need more people in Congress who will actually hold the line.

I cannot tell you how incredibly profoundly disappointed I am with these Democrat senators. The next funding request they give me I will share with them my opinion.
Soon in my inbox: Hello, it's the Democrats! We have decided to capitulate and cooperate with the fascists. Please donate between 5 and 50 dollars so that we can hire a marketing firm to help Republican politicians like us better. If you don't give, we won't be able to let them strip your rights!

I offer you name the names of the senators who screwed us. It is not every senator. And if this is a political game, let everybody be dealing with this fallout from the fact that these people betrayed this country.
