The "Friends of Kingston Gate" say that the ongoing trial of one-way working 2 way for bikes on Kings), on upper Kings Road and New Road (near #RichmondPark Kingston Gate) is at risk of being halted by the Council. They have a petition here www.change.org/p/keep-the-o...

Have you ever seen a bike lane sweeper - pulled behind a bike?

Volunteers in Kirkland have a new tool that attaches to the back of an e-bike. It's good for protected bike lanes, sidewalks, and narrow trails.

Lots of new signs in #RichmondPark. Not seen this design for "slippery cyclists" anywhere before.

Uh-oh! Repairs to a high voltage cable mean that the cycle track on Kingston High Street is closed at the junction with Kingston Hall Road.

Seems that what is possibly the busiest cycle route in the borough was closed without warning or consideration of cyclists. #SkerneRoad

Terrible NEW bike parking installed by Eden Walk shopping centre. We'll ask the Council to request its removal. #KingstonBikeTheft

We've been told that there's a lot of opposition to the trial measures in Kings Road, Tudor Road and Crescent Road. Probably the most anger has been at the Crescent Road change. Kings Rd and Tudor Rd are not permanent changes - still only trials. Survey: www.kingstonletstalk.co.uk/highways-and...

We've grown London's Cycleway network from 90 to 430km

There’s no doubt that London is fast becoming a cycling city.

We've noticed some new cycle parking stands in Kingston. Have you spotted any other new ones in the borough? We had requested the ones near Anytime Fitness.

Rude. Driver parks their van across the Little Wood Street cycle track for a couple of hours. RBK Parking enforcement officers nowhere to be seen.

Kingston has a #BromptonDock near Surbiton station. Great value for users We asked Kingston Council for one near Kingston Station as part of the bike hub project, but we were told it was too expensive. It's time to ask the again! #Brompton.
Ealing council has paid for two Brompton Bike Hire hubs for the town. I got one last night to save a long walk from Acton tube station to hotel, and stashed it near Ealing Broadway today. £5 for 24 hours!

Public transport often treats bikes as a luxury—or worse a competitor—but without them leaves revenue on the table.

For 25 years, the Dutch have extended the reach of their railways through investments in (300,000) parking spaces and (25,000) shared bikes. The result? A doubling of train ridership.

OK, so this photo was taken after hours, but has anyone seen the "pit lane" in St James's Road being used in the last 6 months? Construction ended quite a few months ago. It makes cycling on this 2-way road sub-optimal.
